Discover our new seasonal menu
Chef Enzo Oliveri has put together a selection of exciting traditional Sicilian recipes: from today you will find them in the new seasonal menu available in our restaurant Tasting Sicily Enzo’s Kitchen! Our aim is to add value to the best Sicilian products, directly sourced in Sicily for you by our local awarded producers.
Among the new dishes in the Antipasti (starters) menu, we highlight the “Calamari piccanti in letto di lenticchie di Ustica” (chilly shrimps on a bed of lentils from Ustica): chef Oliveri introduces them to Londoners after his recent Summer visit to his beloved Sicilian island Ustica where he he was invited to do masterclasses and cooking lessons. Ustica produces special lentils, which are SlowFood presidia and need to be protected. “They are little and crunchy, and remain unbroken during the cooking process” our chef says. Popular options as arancine, tuma grigliata, parmigiana, carpaccio di polpo maiolino and Antipasto Tasting Sicily are still there!
This new seasonal menu has the “Soup of the day“, served with Sicilian bread: you’ll be surprised about the incredible variety of typical recipes, such our popular chickpeas soup!
The “Pasta & Risotto” menu has four great new dishes: Spaghetti alla Eoliana (with Salina capers, SlowFood presidia), Risotto al nero di seppia (with cuttlefish and black ink sauce) who some of you already tried for our Saint Valentine menu, Cous Cous di pesce (with reflects the Sicily’s connection with Arab culinary culture), and Linguine all’astice (Lobster linguine with cherry tomatoes and basil).
You will still be able to order our classics such as Anellette, Busiate, Pasta con le sarde and Casarecce, of course.
This stunning collection of dishes designed by Enzo Oliveri continues in the “Secondi” (Sicilian main course) section.
We feature the Involtini di pollo alla siciliana (chicken rolls filled with ham and caciocavallo cheese in breadcrumb and Bronte pistacchio), the Scaloppina di vitello al limone (veal escalope in lemon and wine sauce) and Filetto con salsa alle erbe aromatiche (beef fillet steak with aromatic herbs sauce). Fish lovers will appreciate the Branzino al cartoccio (Sea bass parcels cooked in sea water with Sicilian lemon flavor). Gamberoni, Tonno and Pesce Spada are still available in the menu.
Sicilian sweets are glorious choices: Dolce Biancomangiare (Sicilian traditional almond white pudding with a hint of cinnamon) and Delizia al Pistacchio di Bronte (exclusive recipe of our chef) are unmissable!
